Port Sunlight Angling Club are excited to announce a Free Two Day Family Fishing Festival on our Idyllic Fireman’s Pool, Hooton Road on Friday 31st May and Saturday 1st June 2019

We are looking to get young people and their families out into the fresh air and give beginners a chance to have a go at our fabulous sport and a chance for those wishing to return to fishing sample what our club has to offer and introduce their Children or Grandchildren to fishing.

To make these a successful and an enjoyable couple of days we are working with two professional angling organisations, the Angling Trust and Canal and River Trust to deliver these two events.

Ordinarily you would need an Environment Agency licence to fish anywhere, however, we have obtained an exemption for you on both days.

Don’t miss out ‘Book Today’

Day one – Friday 31st May Canal & River Trust ‘Lets Fish’ angling taster sessions.

All the tackle is provided you just turn up and fish. Booking for this Friday Event is through Eventbrite and full details on the event and directions can be found HERE

Day Two – Saturday 1st June Angling Trust ‘Get Family Fishing.

This event isn’t coached and is an open day, offering two hour’s fishing for those Anglers who are either lapsed and want to return to the sport; Anglers with some experience who want to get their children or Grandchildren into fishing; Anglers who want to have a free session can also come along. In deed anyone wanting to take a look at our water and find out more about the club are welcome. If you are missing some kit, we have some you can borrow.
