CRT Ellesmere Port Kingfisher Academy Welcome Day Shropshire Union Canal (Croughton Bridge No 135) The academy is for young people aged between 6 and 18 who have been fishing a few times, or already have the angling habit and want to improve their fishing, that will progress you through a number of day time, evening and class room sessions to enable you to fish canal matches through our regional and national celebrations of young people and fishing. We will be able to provide donated equipment, that you don't have, to enable you to fish. The Academy will be £20 to join for the year and participants will have access through C&RT trade accounts, huge discounts on tackle from a number of major tackle dealers, including Daiwa. There will be class room activity in the Autumn and Winter months. The are 2 introductory days lasting 3 hours, the first is on Sunday 29th of June at Croughton near Cheshire Oaks.
