General description

The Stork is a large well-established doughnut shaped pool just over an acre in size.  It originated from several smaller ponds opened up into one, resulting in areas of open water and secluded bays with depths of between 2 & 9ft and 26 fishable pegs. It is accessed through a locked Kissing Gate from a public foot path opposite Talbot Avenue across a field that often accommodates dairy Cattle.

This is not the easiest of waters but holds Roach, Perch, Tench Bream and Carp that run to a specimen size with Rudd, Crucians and Barbel also present.

Special Conditions

Night fishing is allowed on this pool after following a pre fishing notification procedure.

Parking & Access

Parking is on the verge to the right of the farm gate just before Talbot Avenue on Manor Road (Do not obstruct the farm gate) or on the verge in Talbot Avenue. Access is through the kissing gate about 150m along the footpath behind the white gate opposite Talbot Avenue.
