The Stork Pond


There are two ponds in the field opposite the junction of Talbot Avenue and Manor Road, best accessed from the A5137 Brimstage Road

General description

The main pond is a large doughnut shaped lake is over an acre in size with 25 pegs. The adjoining pond is quite small but 7ft deep with only 5 pegs.

They aren’t the easiest waters to catch on but both fish well on natural baits.

There are specimen sized Roach, Perch, Tench, Bream and Carp to be caught with Rudd, Crucian and Barbel also present.

Special Conditions

Two Rods are allowed at this venue. No braided lines of Hook lengths, no barbel in keepnets.

Parking & Access

Park on the verge on Talbot Avenue making sure not to park near the farm gate at the junction with Manor Road as cattle need to go to be milked.

Walk down the footpath down the side of the white gate and you will see a locked kissing gate about 100m the pond is in the middle of the field again with a locked gate. The field regularly has milking cows in the field.
